Product Description:
YNOTLOC - Cabinet is a high quality, low voltage electro-magnetic system for automatically securing cupboards and drawers. It does so more effectively, easily and covertly than any other product. A completely concealed system YNOTLOC – Cabinet is perfect for restricting access to desired cabinets, whether it’s keeping children safe in kitchens or securing documents in an office drawer.
The YNOTLOC - Cabinet consists of several components: A lock is mounted inside the cabinet, a strike secured to the door or drawer, a transformer to supply the power and a switch to release the lock. As the cupboard or drawer is closed, the strike automatically engages with the lock and the cabinet is secured. Unlocking is achieved by using one of two methods: A magnetic wand can be used to activate a concealed switch, or a button can be pressed.
Each door or drawer that requires securing has its own lock, but because of a daisy chain connection between the locks only one transformer is needed to supply power. This enables the locks to be fitted throughout an entire kitchen from a single power point and also allows for individual access to a cabinet or central control to all locked cabinets.
Ocular Demonstration:
Many features such as a patented installation aid and one step deactivation make the system unique, and supplied in three ready made packs complete with all the necessary components purchasing YNOTLOC – Cabinet is a very simple process.

Enclosed in the 2 Lock Starter Pack is the transformer needed to supply power to the first lock, while the second lock obtains its power via the jumper wire connecting the two locks together. Also supplied in this pack is a magnet wand which when used in conjunction with a magnetic sensor connected to a lock, activates the lock and allows access to the cabinet.
With the first two locks in place, 4 Lock Packs can be purchased and offer easy expansion of the system. Again by utilizing the jumper wires to connect the locks together, power is still supplied from the original transformer.
At any stage a Master Switch Pack can be used to give the convenience of one button access to multiple locks.
In addition to the three packs some items can be purchased separately. An Extension wire is available and can be used when connecting locks that have been spaced further apart than the supplied jumper wires will allow. A Battery can also be purchased to offer a backup system should the power fail, and a Magnet wand is available in case the original is misplaced or locked inside a drawer.

Installation Guide
Designed to fit inside all cabinetry, YNOTLOC – Cabinet can be mounted in cupboards and drawers. The lock is secured inside the cabinet by using the supplied screws and the strike fitted to the door or drawer. Wiring the locks with power and switches is as simple as plug and play.
In cupboards, locks can be mounted at the top or bottom of a cabinet and are usually positioned flush with the front edge. With the locks and strikes installed the wires are concealed inside the cabinet.
Drawer installations will normally have the lock mounted behind the drawer with the strike secured to the back of the drawer box. The lock can be secured to the rear wall of the cabinet or an additional rail can be fitted and the locks installed onto it. The sensors are often positioned in behind the drawer front.
There are a large number of cabinets that have Face Frame design. Securing a lock to a face frame can be difficult because there is only a narrow edge of wood rather than a flat surface to mount to. However installation is easy with the aid of the face frame bracket that is supplied in The 2 Lock and The 4 Lock packs. In two easy steps the lock can be secured, but because mounting is done on a wooden edge, drilling small pilot holes is recommended.
First the face frame bracket is installed onto the edge.

The lock is then screwed onto the face frame bracket.

The strike and then wiring is completed as in a normal installation.
FAQ
What is YNOTLOC - Cabinet?
A low voltage electro-magnetic cabinet lock for securing cupboards and drawers.
Why use YNOTLOC - Cabinet?
To provide a safe environment and prevent unnecessary injuries for children in potentially dangerous areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, garages. To limit access to cabinets in work places, retail stores, education facilities, and leisure centers. To secure documents or valuables.
How does it work?
A lock is mounted inside the cabinet, a strike secured to the door or drawer, a transformer to supply the power and a switch to release the lock.
What makes YNOTLOC - Cabinet better than other products on the market?
Effective, aesthetic and easy to use and install, YNOTLOC - Cabinet is the only product worldwide that offers all the following key features:
- The ability to secures both drawers and cupboards without external fittings or damage, positioning locks at the backs of drawers to avoid compromising space or appearance
- The strength to prevent forced entry
- Automatic relocking
- The ability to unlock all cupboards from a central point, or select individually for one-off access
- The ability to engage or disengage locks in one easy step, for example when visiting grandchildren arrive or leave
- Home automation system integration
Where can it be installed?
Any environment where there is need to secure cupboards and drawers.
How is it installed and can I do it myself?
With no drilling and readymade wires installation is easy; all you need is a screwdriver. An installation aid is provided with each lock so no measuring is required to get the exact location of the strike, and the wires simply plug in.
What if I forget to relock?
Unlike other products on the market that require you to lock manually, YNOTLOC - Cabinet has a ‘slam’ feature which means simply closing the door will secure it.
Can my kids learn how to open the locks like with other products on the market?
Other products on the market, such as the hook and lever and external zip locks, can be bypassed by clever toddlers. With YNOTLOC – Cabinet the locks are strong enough to prevent forced entry and so long as the magnet wand or master switch button is kept out of reach they cannot be breached by children.
What if I only want my cupboards locked some of the time?
YNOTLOC - Cabinet features an over-ride mechanism on the strike and by simply sliding it into position the drawer or cupboard will remain unlocked.
Does it use power and if so how much?
YNOTLOC - Cabinet is powered by a 12VDC transformer, however power usage is minimal as the locks only draw power when the magnetic wand or central switch is used. Having a YNOTLOC – Cabinet system installed will not make any noticeable difference to a power bill.
What if the power goes off?
In addition to the low voltage plug pack, we offer an optional battery pack which acts as a back-up, kicking in if the power goes off so you can still access your cupboards and drawers.
How many locks can I have?
You can use YNOTLOC – Cabinet in the entire house. Using the magnetic wand system, up to 30 locks can be powered from a single transformer. Using the master switch, a maximum of 10 locks can be controlled.
